An award-winning professor at the University of Notre Dame is coming to Utah State University and he will assume a key leadership position at the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business. James A. Davis, who launched the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at Notre Dame, has been named professor and head of the Management Department at the Huntsman School of Business. Dean Douglas D. Anderson says Davis launched the Entrepreneurial Center at Notre Dame in 1998 and in the 10 years he served as its director it was consistently ranked among the top 20 programs in the country. Davis was the John F. Shauughnessy Chair of Family Enterpises at Notre Dame. While there, the president of the university presented him with the President’s Award recognizing his contributions to the university. He was also named MBA Outstanding Professor of the Year three times.
