Report: 13 northern Utah road jobs await funding

LAYTON, Utah (AP) — A report tallies 13 northern Utah road and highway projects awaiting state funds totaling nearly $76 million. Statewide, unfunded projects on the Utah Department of Transportation list amount to more than $226 million. UDOT Engineer Bill Lawrence tells the Standard-Examiner of Ogden for a Tuesday report that work will be done in Weber, Davis, Morgan and Box Elder counties when the state has funds. That list includes $52 million worth of work on U.S. 89, Interstate 84 and State Route 91 in Box Elder County, and nearly $14 million of work on Interstate 15, U.S. 89 and state routes 60 and 104 in Weber County. Officials say almost $5 million worth of work remains to be done on I-15 and state routes 227 and 66 in Davis and Morgan counties.
