Pageant celebrates Corinne’s wild past

It’s called Corinne, the Gentile City and the comedic pageant celebrating Corinne’s colorful history will play Friday and Saturday, June 24 and 25, beginning at dusk, around 9:15 p.m. at the Corinne City Park. Past director Lanan Donavan says Corinne was known for its 28 saloons, its 80 “soiled doves” and its divorce machine where for $2.50 you could get a divorce without either party being there. The popular pageant features food concessions and a pre-show with live entertainment. The pageant is described as great family entertainment and you are invited to bring families, friends, lawn chairs and blankets. The Corinne park is just off Highway 13 five miles west of Brigham City.
