There are now four confirmed cases of measles in Cache Valley. Jill Parker of the Bear River Health Department says the staff is working diligently to contain the measles outbreak and to minimize its impact on the community. The health department is working to locate potentially-exposed individuals, drawing and testing blood samples, providing vaccinations, and overseeing the isolation of confirmed cases. Parker says for more information residents of the area should call their primary care provider or the health department directly at 792-6500.
