The Utah Department of Transportation advises motorists that State Road 30, also known as the Valley View Highway, will be closed at 200 North and 1000 West for the next three weeks. Spokesman Vic Saunders says starting Monday, SR 30 will be closed at 1000 West 24 hours a day. He says the reason for the closure is to allow Logan City to reconstruct utilities through the intersection before total reconstruction of the intersection begins later this summer. Saunders says traffic on SR 30 will be detoured west-bound at 950 West and east-bound at 1225 West. Motorists should then follow the posted detour signs.
