SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Jazz finally caught a break, moving up Tuesday in the NBA Draft Lottery to No. 3 with the pick obtained from New Jersey in exchange for former All-Star Deron Williams. The Jazz also have the 12th pick in the draft, a slot that could put them in position to draft BYU star Jimmer Fredette. Duke’s Kyrie Irving and Arizona’s Derrick Williams are projected as the top two picks, but it may be more wide open after that. Players projected at No. 3 range from forwards Kawhi Leonard, Enes Kanter and Jonas Valanciunas to point guards Kemba Walker and Brandon Knight.
