SALT LAKE CITY (AP) – The Utah Jazz will have 82 chances in 1,000 of landing the top pick when the NBA Draft Lottery is held. Jazz general manager Kevin O’Connor will be in Secaucus, N.J., for Tuesday’s drawing at the NBA Entertainment Studios. The lottery determines the order of the first 14 picks for the June draft. The Jazz own two lottery picks, their own and New Jersey’s from the trade of Deron Williams. The Nets pick they obtained gives the Jazz 75 chances of securing the top pick, while their own only carries .70 percent odds. Minnesota has the most chances – 250 out of 1,000 – after finishing the season with a 17-65 record – the worst in the NBA.
