Stolen truck from Logan turns up 700 miles away in Oregon

After running out of gas in Oregon, four people were arrested after driving a stolen pickup truck from Logan.According to KPTV.com, a Multnomah County sergeant stopped to check on a truck in the parking lot of Dalton Point rest area, west of Multnomah Falls, at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12. The people in the truck said they ran out of gas.Deputies say the sergeant determined the 1997 Ford F250 had been reported stolen about 21 hours earlier in Logan, Utah.Brandon Kidder (of Wilder, Utah), Brandon Ugarte (of Logan, Utah), and Willow Sweeney (of Logan, Utah) were arrested on suspicion of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.A 17-year-old boy was also taken into custody and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.Three pet rats belonging to Ugarte were taken to the Multnomah County Animal Service building in Troutdale.
