Business Resource Center explores the How of Entrepreneurship

The Cache Business Resource Center is hosting a series of discussions that affect our communities and business health. The discussions break it down to physical, financial, mental, social and ethereal well-being.An introductory discussion started Tuesday led by Tom Fairbanks, a local economist and successful business owner. Thursday, Fairbanks will speak at the third Thursday Entrepreneur Networking Meeting. Fairbanks says his topic will be The How of Entrepreneurship.”After I moved here and having watched so much of the destruction that takes place in the name of good business,” Fairbanks says, “I sat down and figured, ‘So what are the rules of the game? How are we supposed to conduct business, and be honest and fair and all the other things?’ “So we came up with five specific principles, or five specific elements that pertain to these principles of business.” Fairbanks will be sharing some of the success secrets at the meeting which starts at 7 p.m. The Cache Business Resource Center is located in the West Campus of the Bridgerland Applied Technology College, 1410 North 1000 West, Room 1901 in Logan.
