Country Manor residents thankful for flood assistance

Tuesday was an easier day for residents of the Country Manor subdivision in Logan after Monday’s full day of work dealing with flooding from the Blacksmith Fork River.Homeowners Association President Aaron Pyfer is expressing a great deal of gratitude to those who helped with the effort, especially Logan City crews along with neighbors and organized groups.”We’re just trying to keep ahead of the ground water until the peak, until it climaxes,” Pyfer says. “With the amount of water coming down the Blacksmith Fork we’re just trying to keep the ground water from getting too far into homes.”Pyfer says those living in the adjacent Riverside RV Park still have a dilemma. He says there was water still coming into the trailer park and there was still large areas of standing water.
