A benefit dinner for injured skiier Andrew Floyd will start at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 4, at Hamilton’s Restaurant.Angie Fonnesbeck, a good friend who is in charge of the fundraiser, says Floyd’s legs were badly damaged in a January ski accident at Beaver Mountain. Several surgeries have been required, and Fonnesbeck said Floyd has no insurance at this time.Fonnesbeck said everyone is invited.”Actually, it will be a pretty neat thing. We’ve got some some bands lined up and so there’s going to be a silent auction and some music,” Fonnesbeck said. “For the $15 ticket, you get an all-you-can-eat spaghetti, salad and those kinds of things, and then there will also be a raffle.”Fonnesbeck said the Floyds and their two children appreciate donations of any size. No reservations are necessary to attend the benefit dinner. For more information, call Angie at 757-9181.
