Teens for Jeans accepting donations for Ogden homeless shelter

Aeropostale is still collecting used jeans for the 4th annual Teens for Jeans campaign. All jeans donated will go to St. Anne’s homeless shelter in Ogden. So far, the Logan branch has sent 325 pairs of jeans to the shelter, and hope to receive more by the extended deadline on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Those who wish to donate jeans can bring them to the Aeropostale located in the Cache Valley Mall. Those who donate will receive a coupon for 25 percent off their next jeans purchase. Last year, 250 kids from 125 different families lived at the shelter at one point or another. Many of these occupants were between the ages of 15-17. While Teens for Jeans accepts jeans for any age group, their focus is on teenagers. St. Anne’s Center is also accepting donations for other items. A list of things the center needs can be found at their website, www.stannescenter.org. – rachel@cvdaily.com
