SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Salt Lake and Ogden police have made the state’s largest seizure of pirated DVDs and CDs.The Deseret News reports on Monday 10 people suspected of illegally distributing about 8,100 pirated DVDs and 21,000 pirated CDs were arrested last week.Pirated DVDs and CDs worth about $346,000 were distributed from Mexican food and flea markets and sold on the street. All 10 people arrested are illegal immigrants.The bust was part of a bigger investigation by the Statewide Enforcement of Crimes by Undocumented Residents Strike Force that began a year ago.The strike force found illegal CDs and DVDs were being sold along with fake green cards, fake Social Security cards, drugs and weapons.
