Wickwar says Egypt protests are ‘scary’

There are still thousands of protesters in Cairo’s main square vowing to stay until President Mubarak agrees to step down. Cache County Democratic Party Chairman Vince Wickar has one word to describe the situation, “scary.””We’re hearing about efforts in Jordan and we keep hearing more and more in the news about the Muslim Brotherhood being behind this,” Wickwar says. “They were started about 90 years ago and have always been a radical Islamic group.”Wickwar says, fortunately, protest leaders say they have met with Egypt’s prime minister to discuss ways to ease President Mubarak out of office so negotiations can begin on the nation’s future.
