HURD week at USU

This week is HURD week at Utah State University. HURD is a USU social club created to rally the student-body at athletic events and promote general pride in the university.Since its creation, HURD has been Utah State’s largest club and claims to be the, “rowdiest, loudest, biggest and best fans of student athletics.” HURD week kicks off Monday with the Stew Morrill Coach’s Show at Elements Restaurant at 6 p.m.There will be a three-point contest held in the Nelson Fieldhouse Tuesday at 5 p.m. Wednesday at 9 p.m. the USU men’s basketball team, current Western Athletic Conference leaders, takes on the University of Nevada in the Glen Smith Spectrum.To finish off HURD week, men’s basketball plays Boise State at the Spectrum on Saturday.
