First Logan council meeting of 2011 features State of the City, immigration reform

The first meeting of the new year for the Logan Municipal Council starts Tuesday, Jan. 4, at 5:30 p.m. and the agenda is a busy one. Mayor Randy Watts is scheduled to present his fifth annual State of the City Address and the mayor will also be ratifying a new Logan City Justice Court Judge.Monica Seegmiller will be presenting a Logan-Cache Airport master plan update and there will be two public hearings. One is to consider changes in governmental accounting standards and the other is to consider a resolution approving the Utah Compact on Immigration Reform.
