A dairyman from Preston has been named to the Idaho Dairy Hall of Fame. Ellis Roberts was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the conclusion of the annual meeting of the United Dairymen of Idaho held recently in Boise. One dairyman from each state is honored with that recognition each year. Roberts was selected based on his commitment to the industry, his civic service and involvement with Franklin County youth. Roberts owns and operates a 250-Holstein dairy with his son David in Preston.They farm 400 acres of land and operate an intensive grazing operation.
