More work being done on Oneida Stake Academy thanks to grant

Additional work is underway at the Oneida Stake Academy in Preston, Idaho thanks to a $24,000 grant from the National Scenic Byways Program.Nathan Hall, Vice President of the Oneida Stake Academy Foundation, says the grant requires a $5,000 match which was provided in part by Ireland Bank, Academy restoration supporters and local residents.The Preston Citizen reports that the $30,000 total will be used to install basement columns, reinforce the ballroom’s main beam, upgrade the building roof and drainage system and pay for promotion materials used in fundraising.
