LOGAN, UT — Celebrate the holiday season the first weekend of December with the CVCA December Gallery Walk. Join the Cache Valley Center for the Arts downtown on Friday, December 3rd from 6-9 pm to enjoy a little music and a lot of art. Over twenty locations will be participating in this seasonal winter walk. Enjoy everything from culinary gingerbread masterpieces to artwork by some of Cache Valley’s finest. Just look for the yellow banner at various participating locations or stop in and pick up a map. During the walk, many of the locations will be collecting food – help us by helping the community get Hungry for the Arts! The Cache Valley Arts Summit and CVCA would like to invite you to donate non-perishable food items for the Cache Community Food Pantry at each art event you attend this Holiday Season. No one should go hungry in our beautiful Cache Valley. Food bins will be available at most locations and many Art venues around the valley. This walk features some of Cache Valley’s masters and some up and coming artists including: Jeff Wallis, Kathy Ashcroft, The Cache Valley Watercolor Society, Cache Valley Photographers, Kristi Grussendorf, Adrian VanSuchtelen, Doc Christiansen, Chris Terry, Brandt Berntson, Marion Hyde, Perry Haas, Beverly Byington, Jeff Keller, Craig Law, DeMar Hansen, Grant Lund, Becky Blankenship, student work, and more. The holiday season is a busy time for gift giving and visiting with friends; the CVCA Gallery Walk is the best ways to combine the two. During the walk, Downtown galleries and businesses will stay open late to showcase their artists. Don’t forget that many artists will be selling their works and a piece of art makes the perfect gift! Everyone wants to be a part of this fun event, we even have two locations that participate regularly even though they are a little further off the map. Start early, stay late, and come again! Many locations including Caffe Ibis Gallery Deli, Fuhrimans Framing & Fine Art Gallery, The Logan Arthouse & Cinema, Thatcher-Young Mansion and the JF Prince Gallery will usually display their shows for three to four weeks after the Gallery Walk. Check out www.cachearts.org or Friday’s Cache Magazine for maps, details, and special hours of operation or you can call the Cache Valley Center for the Arts at 435-752-0026 or email email@example.com.
