Representatives from Utah State University in Logan and from Utah State University-College of Eastern Utah will travel to southeastern Utah for what is being called an “opportunity tour” November 15-17. Administrators on the tour include Ronda Menlove, Vice Provost for regional campuses and distance education, and USU-CEU Chancellor Joe Peterson. A variety of additional staff, including advisors and admissions officers will also be on the tour. The visits to high schools and cities in the southeastern part of the state comes in the wake of the July merger of USU with CEU and marks the first time leaders of both institutions have joined forces to communicate the merger’s benefits to the public. The tour group will engage community leaders through town hall meetings and interact with students at campus forums and high school visits.
