Cache County Sheriffs Deputies and Search and Rescue members were dispatched to the Sinks area of Logan Canyon Saturday afternoon where they rescued a fall victim in a cave.Sheriffs Lt. Chad Jensen says 30-year old Benjamin Buhr of Arizona was hiking in a cave with his sister and they were about 100 to 150 feet back into the cave. The sister told authorities her brother was climbing a 10-foot wall when the rock his rope was tied to came loose, causing him to fall.The rock fell on his chest and forearm. He was treated at the scene by Search and Rescue teams as well as Logan Fire paramedics. He was then transported to Logan Regional Hospital in good condition with a broken arm.Jensen says Search and Rescue had trained in this exact cave during the last month and they were able to identify the cave and recover the victim in a fast and efficient manner.
