Pulsipher, former educator and principal, dies at the age of 80

A respected local educator, Guy Ray Pulsipher, died Sunday, Oct. 31 at his home in Avon at the age of 80. Pulsipher had been a teacher and a former principal of the Providence Elementary School. After retiring, Pulsipher was elected to a seat on the Cache County School Board and his term was expiring this year. He had not filed for re-election. Pulsipher was active in civic and organizations within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Pulsipher was also a well-known supporter of Utah State University athletics. Funeral services have not yet been announced.
