Tuesday is the day voters go to the polls and cast their ballots in the 2010 general election. Locally, four polling places have changed and Cache County Clerk Jill Zollinger says those who vote in those districts should have been notified by now.One of those places is Smithfield where the Armory was previously used. Since it is now under renovation those from Smithfield’s east side (Districts l, 2, 3, 4 and 5) will vote two blocks away at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Smithfield 11th Ward Church.Logan’s 8 and 10 districts have voted at the Whittier Community Center but, instead, they will now vote at the Senior Citizens Center, 240 North 100 East. Precincts 11, 15 and 23, who have been voting at the Adams School, have moved to the LDS Logan 10th Ward 792 North 500 East. And for Logan districts 27 and 32, the move is from the Human Service Building to the LDS Logan River 2nd Ward Church, 94 West 600 South. Zollinger says electronic polling machines will be at all the polling places but those who choose may use paper ballots.
