Preston school superintendent retiring

After a 30-year educational career Preston School Superintendent Barbara Taylor is retiring. Taylor’s retirement is effective at the end of the school year and after her sixth year as superintendent. Taylor says it is time to spend more time with her children and grandchildren. She admits the last few years have been difficult because of the poor economy. The Preston School District is on a four-day work week this year in an effort to save money.
