The midterm election is less than two weeks away but early voting has started at the Cache County Administration Office. Early voting will also begin Monday, Oct. 25, and run through Thursday next week at the Hyrum Library, the former Smithfield City Office Building and the USU Taggart Student Center. Cache County Clerk Jill Zollinger has issued a reminder for those who wish to vote early, don’t forget you need a form, or forms, of Identification at the polls. “It’s something that is fairly new,” Zollinger explains. “They did it in the city election last year. It will be the same this year. “Voters that come, everyone, will need to present a photo ID when they come to the polls. If the ID is not a current Utah drivers license then they would need to bring two forms of ID with them.” Zollinger says some people use receipts from rent or utility payments as one form of ID. Early voting ends Thursday, Oct. 28.
