Republican U.S. Senate candidate Mike Lee says it looks more and more like Republicans are going to take over both houses of Congress after the November 2 mid-term elections. On KVNU’s Crosstalk show Monday, Lee said he is one who wants to repeal Obamacare if Republicans are in charge.”The President will of course, almost certainly, veto it,” Lee said. “And I don’t know that we’ll have the votes necessary to override that veto. We probably won’t. “I think it’s still an important exercise to go through. The President needs to be unambiguous in his statement that he’s doing. Even if that happens, we can refuse to fund efforts that will be necessary to implement Obamacare.”Lee says at least we could freeze it or parts of it until we get a president who wants to repeal the Obamacare legislation.
