James: a lot of voter anger and concern

Cache County’s Republican Party chairman says it is good to see so many party members excited and engaged in this year’s election campaign. David James admits that some of them are angry. “It’s interesting even in the (Cache) Valley,” James says. “I mean, you don’t see so much the protests and the yelling, stuff like that. But when you talk to people there is a deep-seeded mix between anger and concern, a very deep seeded, ‘Where are we going? Is this the right direction? Are we on the right path?’ A lot of people feel we are not.” James says several Republican candidates will be visiting the Logan area this week. U.S. Senate candidate Mike Lee was in Logan on Monday and on Friday1st District Congressman Rob Bishop will be hosted by the USU College Republicans.
