Early voting begins Tuesday

Mid-term elections are more than two weeks away, on November 2, but voters do not have to wait until then to cast their ballots. Early voting begins Tuesday, Oct. 19 according to Cache County Clerk Jill Zollinger.Zollinger says voters can vote in the County Administration Building Tuesday through Friday then Monday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 28 from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. On Friday, Oct. 29 the hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are also three other sites for early voting: the Hyrum Library (50 West Main in Hyrum), the former Smithfield City Office Building (69 North Main), and the Utah State University Taggart Student Center. The hours at those sites are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Monday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 28. Zollinger says early voting is becoming more and more popular in Cache County.
