Bike Week features pedal-powered concert

Aggie Blue Bikes is hosting the second annual USU Bike Week with daily activities through Friday. There is an air quality class scheduled Wednesday and that will be followed by a bike picnic.Aggie Blue Bikes event coordinator Amy Flanders says a pedal-powered concert featuring Water and Walls and a surprise band will start at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Old Main Outdoor Amphitheater. All of the electricity needed to power the amplifiers and other band equipment will be generated from teh bikes located on the stage.Free hot chocolate and coffee will be provided. Friday is Bike to Campus day and any students, staff or faculty who ride their bike to campus will receive a much-acclaimed free breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m. outside the Taggart Student Center next to the Synergy Statue.
