Full agenda for Logan council includes Spice, canals, and libraries

A full agenda awaits members of the Logan Municipal council Tuesday evening. The council is expected to vote on an ordinance that would ban the substance commonly known as “Spice” at its 5:30 p.m. meeting. Last week the Cache County Council passed a similar ordinance for the unincorporated parts of the county. Also Tuesday, council chairman Jay Monson will ask his colleagues to support a resolution supporting a countywide library. The November ballot will include a non-binding vote on whether or not the voter supports the countywide system. Public Works Director Mark Nielsen will be talking to the council about Logan’s estimated share of construction costs for a canal restoration project.
