New charges have been filed against former Logan Fire Chief Kyle Lindsay. Lindsay resigned from his job on August 4 and after that was charged with second-degree felony burglary and two charges of “doctor shopping” for prescription drugs. On Thursday another charge of falsely obtaining a prescription drug and one of possession of a controlled substance were filed. The burglary charges stem from Lindsay allegedly entering a home in Smithfield on August 1. Lindsay is scheduled to make his initial appearance in 1st District Court on Tuesday, August 24.
