The cause has not yet been determined for a small grass fire that burned about two acres of land just west of the canal above 850 Canyon Road in Logan Monday evening. Deputy Logan Fire Chief Jeff Peterson says the call came in at 6:23 pm and the fire was contained without property damage or injuries to the firefighters. Eastbound traffic was blocked on 400 North for approximately 40 minutes at the intersection of 400 East.Peterson said the traffic block was necessary to keep vehicles away from the scene of the blaze. The area was cleared shortly after 7 pm.
