Logan gearing up for Independence Day celebration

“Party in the USA.” That’s the theme for the 2010 Logan Independence Day celebration which will be held on Friday, July 2 at Utah State University’s Romney Stadium.Committee Chair Holly Fjeldsted says Logan’s own Fireworks West will once again present a fireworks extravaganza and said you see a lot more of the show by coming in the stadium.Gates at Romney will open at 7 p.m. and prior to the fireworks there will be entertainment by Kalei Hogan and the rock band Double Wide, plus a patriotic program at 9:30 p.m. will feature the Logan City Police Department’s honor guard.There is a military flyover scheduled for 9 p.m. Fjeldsted said tickets are $6 for adults and $2 for children 12 and under. They can be purchased now at Logan City offices, the USU Ticket Office, Lee’s Marketplace and Mr. Mac.
