A Sunday soccer game turned into a 50-60 person brawl after players on the field started a fight that soon included the spectators. Cache County Sheriff Lt. Chad Jensen says it happened at the new soccer fields in Nibley at 2600 South 800 West. He says two Hispanic teams from an adult recreation league were playing, but it’s unclear why the fighting started. Jensen says as soon as the group realized authorities were called, they left the area. He says deputies talked with referees and got the names of the teams but since there have been no reports to authorities, there’s not much the Sheriff’s Office will do.
