This could be the year for a third party candidate according to Constitutional scholar Scott Bradley. Bradley is running for U.S. Senate on the Constitution Party ticket and is running against several Democratic and Republican candidates seeking the seat currently held by Sen. Bob Bennett. On KVNU’s For the People program Tuesday, Bradley said there are a lot of unhappy people in the country and the two political parties have become irrelevant. He says the biggest question between Democrats and Republicans is who will have the biggest debt.”Well Mr. Obama is in the presidency now and he’s going to put a bigger debt in,” Bradley said. “But Mr. Bush was in there before and he just about doubled the debt all the combined presidents had previously. That’s just astounding to me. “He would make FDR, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter blush because none of them held a candle to him on his deficit spending. Now we could do this on social things and everything else.”Bradley says candidates should not be judged only on the economic factor. He says the candidate should be chosen who is best on the full constitutional scale and then America will be the happiest, most prosperous and respected country in the world.
