When two inches of snow fell on April 1 in Cache Valley, most residents laughed it off as a cruel April Fools Day joke from Mother Nature. But with seven inches on the ground Tuesday morning in Logan, and more in other areas of the valley, the joke isn’t so funny anymore for many. Late Monday night, Sardine Canyon was shut down for a few hours after multiple semi trucks jackknifed, according to UDOT, and in the rest of Northern Utah, the weather appeared to be more like that you’d find in January than April. Thankfully for those with Spring fever, however, the forecast from the National Weather Service is calling for a return to warmer temperatures starting Wednesday. Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast Wednesday through Sunday, with temperatures reaching near 60 by the weekend.
