Friends of the Merrill Library at Utah State University is hosting the organization’s Spring Lecture on Thursday, March 4 and the featured guest is Brian Q. Cannon. The lecture is free and starts at 7 p.m. in the Merrill-Cazier Library’s auditorium Room 101.In the spotlight will be “Utah In The Twentieth Century,” a book co-edited by Cannon and published by USU Press. The book includes essays by several noted scholars. Cannon has taught history courses on the American West in the 20th Century at BYU since 1992. He is the recipient of many awards and fellowships for his research.
