Cache Valley Transit District is in negotiations to purchase property and is going through the process to meet all federal requirements. General Manager Todd Beutler says this is part of a master plan that will meet the demand of a growing population and is consistent with the vision principals outlined in the Envision Utah document. Beutler says a study was completed in 2009 from independent consultants that showed CVTD’s current facilities cannot sustain future growth. A committee was formed and conducted an analysis of many potential properties. The site selected is located in North Logan and the approximate address is lots eight through 15 of the Eagle Creek Business Park between 2850 North and 3100 North and 300 West and 400 West. The site is approximately 17.24 acres and it is zoned as manufacturing/heavy commercial.
