Space still available for Chamber awards banquet

There is still time to make reservations for the 2010 Cache Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet. It’s coming up Friday, January 29th starting at 7 p.m. at the new Riverwoods Conference Center. USU President Stan Albrecht will be the guest speaker and eight prestigious awards will be presented. This year’s recipients are Posthumous Person of the Year Lee Badger, to be received by his wife Shari, of Lee’s Marketplace; Technology Person of the Year, Chris Ball of Cache Telecom Voice and Data; Exporter of the Year, Tom Carlin of Inovar; Small Business Champion of the Year, Cindy Roberts of Cache Business Resource Center; Family Owned Business of the Year, Edwards Furniture; USU Community Advocate of the Year, Patty Halaufia of USU Alumni Relations; and the important Total Citizen of the Year Fred Hunsaker, state representative and recently-retired USU administrator.
