New class at BATC teaches energy efficiency

A new course on energy efficiency management training and renewable energy systems is being offered by the Bridgerland Applied Technology College. Environmental science educator Jack Greene will be teaching the course which is an introductory, exploratory course that will address energy management, alternative and renewable energy and its return on investment along with other related issues.Greene says as Utah works to meet the Governor’s energy efficiency and renewable energy goal, the state will need to train and educate upcoming energy efficiency professionals to meet the demand of the industry. The cost for the class is $50.
