BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) – Brigham City Council members have approved floating a $3.7 million bond to help fund construction of a fiber-optic system in the city. The agreement commits about 1,600 city residents to paying about $22 a month to hook up their homes to the Utopia network.Utopia chief executive Todd Marriott says the network hopes to use similar special assessment areas to fund its network in all the cities it serves.
