State School Board Member Shelley Locke of North Logan has announced that she’s resigning her seat because of increased workload as a speaker on families.Locke’s resignation became effective at Friday’s meeting of the Board. Locke spoke at the World Congress of Families in Amsterdam in August, which she says opened up more opportunities to take on pro-family issues. She is scheduled to speak at the United Nations in March.
