It wont be long now before Hyde Park residents know who their next mayor will be. A recount is scheduled at noon today by the Hyde Park City Council, who will be acting as a board of canvassers. The result became necessary after Tom Price received one vote more than Brian Cox on election night, then provisional ballots were counted with Cox ending up with two votes more than Price. Price requested the recount which is allowed when the vote is that close.
