Municipal elections are coming up on Tuesday, Nov. 3 and this Thursday Providence residents will have a chance to meet the candidates in their community.A candidate forum is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Providence Elementary School, 91 E. Center St. KVNU’S Eric Frandsen will serve as the moderator for the event.Candidates for mayor are Ron Liechty, a current member of the City Council and Lance Campbell, who is involved with the Planning and Zoning Committee.The four people running for two open council seats are incumbents Kathy Baker and Dale Astle, as well as Don Calderwood and Ralph Call.Those wanting to submit questions in advance should send them to Providence City Meet the Candidates Night, P.O.
