In honor of National Arts & Humanities Month, we are featuring a Cache Valley arts organization a day. The Cache Valley Center for the Arts (CVCA), in the heart of historic downtown Logan, houses the Ellen Eccles Theatre, Bullen Center and Thatcher-Young Mansion. Many Cache Valley arts organizations rehearse, teach classes and perform in these buildings. Every year CVCA brings ten to twelve touring performances to Cache Valley. CVCA, formerly known as the Capitol Arts Alliance, oversaw the restoration of the Ellen Eccles Theatre, a 1923 grand opera house which was originally called the Capitol Theatre, which was called the “Jewel of Cache Valley” and “the best theater west of the Mississippi.” www.centerforthearts.us. This arts organization profile was brought to you by the Cache Valley Arts Summit.
