Arts Spotlight 10/3: Cache Chamber Orchestra

In honor of National Arts & Humanities Month, we are featuring a Cache Valley arts organization a day. Thirty-six years ago a young violist/violinist joined a new community orchestra. His name was Robert Frost and for the last 15 years he’s been the conductor. The Cache Chamber Orchestra is an all volunteer organization that features community musicians and is open to new members through audition. Musicians range from their mid-twenties to their mid-seventies and have a broad range of experience. Several players have been with the orchestra for thirty years or more and a few first learned to play their instruments as adults. Cache Chamber Orchestra just held its second summer pops series and has been invited to perform a holiday pops concert in the Logan Tabernacle December 11, 2009.
