It was a successful day Saturday for Northern Utah football teams at the Rocky Mountain Rumble in Pocatello.The Mountain Crest Mustangs, Sky View Bobcats and Bear River Bears all came home victorious from the event that was held at the Holt Arena in Pocatello.Mountain Crest defeated Pocatello 28-21, Sky View Brought home a 41-7 win over Lake City and Bear River defeated Minico 31-21.–This just might not be the year for the Logan Grizzlies.Mike Favero’s nearly always successful team fell to 1-3 Friday night after a 49-25 beating at the hands of the Park City Miners in Park City.The Miners gained 490 yards rushing and scored 6 touchdowns on the ground and had 530 yards of total offense to bury the Grizzlies, who despite a three receiving touchdown effort from Billy Phillips couldn’t defeat their 3A rival.The Grizzlies start Region 5 play next week, but the games don’t get any easier. Perennial doormat Ogden is 4-0 this season and will be coming off a 56-0 win over crosstown rival Ben Lomond. The game will be played in Ogden.
