Nibley man dies after falling at Pepperidge Farm

A Nibley man has died over the weekend as a result of injuries sustained from a fall while performing routine maintenance Friday at Richmond’s Pepperidge Farm plant.Curtis Jessop, 49, was performing electrical work when he fell from a ladder. Employees at Pepperidge Farm reported that the fall was from a ladder that was between 12- and 16-feet high. Emergency radio traffic indicated Friday that the fall could have been from higher than that, perhaps as high as 40-50 feet, however employees at the scene reported that there was “no way” it could have been that high.Jessop was treated at the scene by paramedics and transported to Logan Regional Hospital, and later was taken to the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray where he later passed away as a result of the injuries.Jessop worked for TEC Electric in Logan.
