Logan River looking to prevent more golfballs from leaving course

There is a long agenda facing the Logan Planning Commission on Thursday. The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m. in the city council chambers.Among the issues facing the planners is a request from the Sunshine Terrace Foundation. It asks for design review approval for an addition to the west side of the existing facility at 325 North 200 West to house two therapy pools on 2.14 acres of property in the multiple-family high zone.Parks and Recreation Director Russ Akina will be seeking a conditional use permit for installation and supportive posts on holes 2, 6 and 16 to prevent golf balls from leaving the course at 550 Golf Course Road in the Recreation zone.
