Three vehicle crash damages Taco Time property

A semi-truck and two other vehicles were involved in a crash Saturday morning that caused significant damage to the property of a Logan restaurant.At about 10 a.m. a semi-truck going through a yellow light at the intersection of 400 North and 100 East collided with a Chevy Suburban that was making a turn at the intersection, causing the sport utility vehicle to hit a third vehicle. The third vehicle, according to police reports, hurtled through the outdoor picnic area on the north side of the Taco Time on the southwest corner of the intersection.”It doesn’t actually go into the building but it did go into that picnic area,” Logan Police Capt. Jeff Curtis said Saturday afternoon.At least one woman was treated by emergency medical technicians for injuries, but according to witnesses at the scene, she likely would not require hospitalization.The Taco Time restaurant was open for business Saturday afternoon.Investigation into the accident continues.
